What a nice, holiday treat! I loved this short story about Sally, a newly divorced woman with a dog named Cupid. As a dog lover myself, I found Cupid to be so enjoyable! Sally's handsome neighbor, Jason, stops over to give her a package that was accidentally delivered to his home. There is a connection right away and I really felt Sally's awkwardness at times, as well as her hopes and dreams. I love that this was just a pure, sweet, romantic story. I only wish it were longer! Pick this up for a quick holiday tale that warms the heart!Product details

I finished the story in about an hour, and I'm a terribly slow reader.
The story's nothing surprising, but the characters are reasonably well developed for something that's probably about 50 regular pages. The price ($2.99) seems way high for something so short. It's a decent, cute, mini-romance story, though there aren't too many twists and turns. I think $0.99 would be a stretch but certainly more reasonable that 3x that.
I wish the dog were a little more integral to the story, but he's a nice side character anyway. It's reasonably well-written with only a few minor grammatically issues. The dialogue is believable. The characters are somewhat flat but a perfect fit for the type of story. Sweet girl on rebound meets hot neighbor guy sort of story. Not exactly rocket science to predict where the story's going, but an enjoyable mini-journey none-the-less.
Conclusion Pretty good, but overpriced for page count and substance. Wait till there's a sale or giveway then download. Unless you're a friend of the author, then buy it full price just to support her.
The story is short but it is so cute!! The dog was a nice addition to the storyline. Loved how the story all came together in the end of the book.
I couldn't put 'Sally's Christmas Cupid' down from the moment I started until I had finished it. Thompson draws in the reader in such a way you don't notice that you're coming to the end. When I got to the end I went to the next page hoping there was more to come. Well worth reading
Great Holiday read. The story was easy to follow and the characters were very likable. I'll be adding this short story to my holiday collection.
